About Dr. Rosenbaum

Dr. Lisa Rosenbaum is a national correspondent for the New England Journal of Medicine, assistant professor of medicine at Harvard Medical
School and attending cardiologist at Brigham and Women’s
Hospital (BWH) in Boston. She completed her medical education at
the University of California, San Francisco, followed by Internal
Medicine residency at Massachusetts General Hospital and
Cardiology fellowship at NYPH Weill-Cornell. She currently holds
an academic position at the Brigham and writes for the NEJM
full-time about topics including physician burnout, medical
ethics, the art of medicine, and cognitive bias, among others.
