John Podesta
John Podesta most recently served as Chair of Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign. Before that, as White House Counselor to President Barack Obama, his duties included overseeing climate change and energy policy. From 1998 to 2001, he served as White House Chief of Staff to President Bill Clinton. Since the election, he has returned to serve as the Chair of Center for American Progress, the Washington-based think tank he founded in 2003, and he teaches as a Visiting Professor of Law at the Georgetown University Law Center.
