About Lisa Molomot

Lisa Molomot is an award-winning filmmaker who produces and directs social justice documentaries across North America. Missing in Brooks County (2020) received a Peabody Award and was an award winner at a dozen different film festivals. Many of her recent works such as The Cleaners (2018), Safe Haven (2020) and Soledad (2019) focus on immigration and immigrant communities. She is currently working on a documentary about an archaeology project in Tucson. Before moving to Arizona nine years ago, Lisa was based in the New Haven area and made her documentary The Hill (2013) about issues surrounding gentrification.
