Caroline H. Johnson Ph.D.

Associate Professor of Epidemiology (Environmental Health Sciences)

Expertise:

Metabolomics, mass spectrometry imaging

Description:

The Johnson Laboratory aims to develop a deeper understanding of the metabolic response to environmental exposures. To do this, we have developed a combination of discovery and hypothesis-driven mass spectrometry-based metabolomics approaches to identify a broad range of metabolites. Using computational tools and orthogonal biological techniques, we investigate and manipulate metabolic pathways to gain insight into the underlying physiological response.
