Description:
I created and direct Yale’s interdisciplinary women’s health research program, Women’s Health Research at Yale, which investigates some of the most pressing health concerns of women today. Founded to address historic gender disparities in medical research, the program supports and nurtures innovative studies on the health of women and gender-specific aspects of health. A national model, our program engages in medical investigations through our Pilot Project Program, interdisciplinary research cores and collaborative ventures, and communicates findings to the public through outreach to the community.
