My research is focused on determining the best clinical strategies and identifying opportunities for improvement in the prevention, treatment and outcome of patients with or at risk for heart disease. I am a member of the Association of American Physicians, the American Society for Clinical Investigation, and the Institute of Medicine. I am also the author of the book “The Expert Guide to Beating Heart Disease”.
