Description: 

I am a clinical psychologist with expertise in identifying the cognitive and emotional correlates of risk and preventive health behaviors. I have studied the impact of public health interventions implemented in clinical and community-based settings. More recently, my research interests have included qualitative and mixed methods studies of the HIV Care Continuum, technology-based interventions to assist in smoking cessation and substance abuse treatment, opioid overdose, the quality of healthcare delivery, and access to medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder.
