Description: 

My research projects have included mechanisms of lower urinary tract/bladder dysfunction, predictors of treatment outcomes for incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse, and impact of pelvic floor disorders on quality of life. I was previously an investigator in National Institutes of Health (NIH) research assessing surgical treatment outcomes for urinary incontinence . As the current principal investigator for the Yale Bladder Health Center, I am part of a NIH sponsored transdisciplinary research consortium focused on prevention of bladder issues in women and girls in order to decrease the significant individual and societal impact.
