The Office of Public Affairs & Communications (OPAC) is pleased to offer Yale Statement Makers on Friday, March 28. Teresa Tritch, former member of the editorial board at The New York Times, will lead a presentation on op-ed writing; OPAC’s media relations team will provide media training to workshop participants; and Dan Corcoran, OPAC’s chief social media manager, will share best practices when engaging on social media.
The skill-building that Statement Makers provides can help faculty continue to work with OPAC to amplify their areas of expertise, foster lasting collaborations with peers, and gain further confidence in sharing their insights on major, timely issues. The program strives to connect faculty with colleagues from across Yale for a day of collaboration and professional support.
The 2025 Yale Statement Makers will take place 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. in the Maurice R. Greenberg Conference Center, 391 Prospect St.
The deadline to submit an application for this year’s workshop is Wednesday, Feb. 5.
