AJ Jacobs

AJ Jacobs is a journalist, author, and editor at large for Esquire magazine. He is an “immersion journalist,” and has written several New York Times bestselling books about his lifestyle experiments, including “The Know It All: One Man’s Humble Quest to Become the Smartest Person in the World” (for which he read the Encyclopedia Britannica cover to cover), “The Year of Living Biblically: One Man’s Humble Quest to Follow the Bible as Literally as Possible” (for which he grew a giant beard and threw pebbles at adulterers), “Drop Dead Healthy: One Man’s Quest for Bodily Perfection” (for which he tried out a series of very strange fad diets), and “It’s All Relative: Adventures Up and Down the World Family Tree” (for which he hosted the world’s largest family reunion). “Living Biblically,” a TV series based on his book, recently premiered on CBS.
