About Ben Timpson

Benjamin Timpson is an artist specializing in interdisciplinary mediums including photography, painting, and sculpture. He has exhibited nationally and internationally. Recent exhibitions include a solo show at Colorado Mountain College/Aspen; and the Allegany National Photography exhibition with juror Shannon Thomas Perich, curator of the Photographic History Collection of the Smithsonian National Museum of American History. Also the Alternative Processes exhibition at the SE Center for Photography in Greenville, South Carolina and the Black and White exhibition at The Center for Fine Art Photography in Fort Collins, Colorado. Benjamin is the visiting artist at Colorado College. He received his MFA from Indiana University and is currently the Photography and New Media Studio Coordinator at the Anderson Ranch Arts Center in Snowmass Village, Colorado.
