About Benedict Carey
Benedict J. Carey is a reporter for The New York Times, where he has been since 2004. He writes about psychology, neuroscience, psychiatry and neurology. Previously, he wrote for The Los Angeles Times where he won a University of Missouri Lifestyle Journalism Award for a story on drinking water. He writes frequently for the Review section of the paper and has written two books, both science mysteries for middle-school aged kids, and has a murder mystery due out this spring.
