About Christian Ziegler
Christian Ziegler is a photojournalist specializing in natural history and science-related topics. He is a regular contributor to National Geographic Magazine and other leading publications. A tropical ecologist by training, Christian has been Associate for communication with the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute (STRI) in Panama since 2001 and is a founding fellow of the International League of Conservation Photographers (iLCP.com). Among other rewards, Christian’s work was recognized in the World Press Photo awards 2013 and 2014. www.naturphoto.de
