Emma Allen (Saybrook ’10) has worked at The New Yorker since 2012, and currently edits funny stuff there including cartoons, Daily Shouts, comics, humor videos, and Shouts adapted for The New Yorker Radio Hour. Additionally, she’s written dozens of Talk of the Town stories for the magazine, as well as a few feature-length articles. She got her start in journalism at the Yale Daily News, where she co-edited the Arts & Living section and wrote a mock advice column called “The Unethicist,” in which she gave awful advice.
