About James Bennet
James Bennet has served as editor-in-chief of The Atlantic since 2006. A Yale University graduate, Bennet spent time at The Washington Monthly and The New York Times before coming to The Atlantic. During the fifteen-year-period he spent at the Times, Bennet wrote for both the newspaper and the Times Magazine, later serving as the paper’s White House correspondent and then for three years as the Jerusalem bureau chief.
