About James Hamblin

Dr. Hamblin graduated from the Indiana University School of Medicine in 2009.  He then completed an internal medicine internship at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts, followed by radiology residency training at Northwestern University and University of California, Los Angeles.  He has also studied improv at the Upright Citizens’ Brigade training center in Los Angeles.  After freelance writing off and on for years, he became a Senior Editor at The Atlantic Magazine.  In addition to writing articles, he hosts If Our Bodies Could Talk, a video series for which he was a finalist in the 2015 Webby awards for Best Web Personality and receives frequent media coverage for his medical journalism.
