About Jean-Michel Frodon

Jean-Michel Frodon served as daily critic for France’s most respected newspaper, Le Monde, from 1995-2003 and then was editor-in-chief of the most famous film magazine in the world, Cahiers du Cinema, from 2003-2009.  Frodon has since moved fully into digital journalism at Slate.fr while teaching at the prestigious Science-Po Paris, at Pantheon-Sorbonne University and at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland.  He has written the definitive history of French cinema since the New Wave, as well as a host of other short books, including Cinema and the Shoah available in English.
