About Jonathan Katz

Jonathan Katz is a well-known and influential media critic. He has been the editor of Wired Magazine – a publication for computer systems and software designers and internet users. He has served as reporter or as an editor for the Washington Post, Boston Globe, Philadelphia Inquirer, and the Dallas Morning Herald. Katz is also a freelance writer for magazines such as GQ and Rolling Stone, and twice has been a finalist for the National Magazine Award.

Katz has written numerous novels including “Virtuous Reality.” More recently he has written about the new information culture and the cultural civil war. The Freedom Forum Media Center has named Katz the “most influential media critic.”
