About Katie Hill
In an improbable victory, Katie Hill minted herself one of the youngest members of Congress in November 2018. Her poignant, forceful resignation address from the House floor captured hearts and headlines nationwide nearly one year later. Since her exit from Congress, Ms. Hill has founded HER Time PAC, a fund committed to “supporting women and young people [in politics] — often the long-shot candidates who have the vision and drive needed to make lasting systemic change — who don’t yet have the resources that come with being a proven or established politician.” Hill is also the host of Naked Politics, a highly-anticipated podcast series, and the author of She Will Rise: Becoming a Warrior in the Battle for True Equality, released this August. In an hour-long moderated conversation, Ms. Hill will reminisce on her days as a congressional candidate and take inventory of the election ahead, answer questions about her experience in and exit from Congress, and speak about the projects she has in the pipeline.
