About Lev Grossman
Lev Grossman is chief book critic for Time magazine, a writer of fantasy fiction, and a critic writing on technology. He grew up in Lexington, MA and graduated from college with a degree in literature. In 2002 he was hired by Time Magazine to write about books and technology full-time. He has also written for Salon, The Village Voice, The Wall Street Journal, Wired, Entertainment Weekly, The Believer, Lingua Franca, the New York Times. His first novel Warp was published in 1997; his second Codex came out in 2004 and became an international best seller, followed by New York Times bestsellers The Magicians in 2009 and the sequel The Magician King in 2011. He was award the John W. Campbell Award of Best new Writer in 2011.
