About Marcus Mabry

Marcus Mabry is editor-at-large of the International Herald Tribune. Previously an editor at Newsweek (he was there for twenty years, serving at one point as chief of correspondents, managing the magazine’s then forty domestic and international correspondents and contract stringers) and the associate national editor of the New York Times, Mabry covers all facets of international news for the IHT.

Mabry has experience in and actively maintains a presence across many media platforms. In addition to his print work, Mabry manages the IHT community website, www.IHTRendezvous.com; recently anchored the New York Times’s livestreaming broadcasts of the Republican and Democratic National Conventions; and has written two books, the first a memoir titled White Bucks and Black Eyed Peas, the latter a biography of Condoleezza Rice, Twice as Good: Condoleezza Rice and Her Path to Power.
