About Martine Powers 

Martine Powers is an audio journalist and the senior host of “Post Reports,” The Washington Post’s flagship daily news podcast. She also co-reported and hosted the recent investigative podcast series “The Empty Grave of Comrade Bishop,” a seven-part examination of the U.S. government’s actions in the aftermath 1983 invasion of Grenada. Martine has been at the Post since 2016; before that, she worked at The Boston Globe and Politico. She spent a year reporting In Trinidad and Tobago on a Fulbright Fellowship, and is a graduate of Yale University and the Transom Story Workshop. She lives in Washington DC.
