About the Speaker
Sebi Medina-Tayac ‘16, a member of the Piscataway Indian Nation and a recent Yale graduate, is a journalist whose multimedia work focuses on immigration and indigenous issues. At Yale, he was a reporter for the New Haven Independent, the Yale Daily News, and the New Journal. He co-founded DOWN at Yale, a publication by and for students of color. His work has appeared in Indian Country Today, New York Times OpDocs, WPKN, Pacifica Radio and Takoma Radio.
